Laundry Equipment Hire and Payment Options

Rental and Leasing

Rent directly from Thain or explore leasing as another way to spread the equipment cost. Installation, servicing and breakdown cover are included in both offers.

Payment-Operated Equipment

Provide shared facilities with coin, token, contactless or app-based payments. Choose compatible machines and a payment system suited to the people using them.

Automatic Dosing with Rental Washing Machines

A suitable dosing system feeds measured amounts of detergent or other laundry chemicals into the washer. Thain can supply pumps free of charge under a detergent supply contract, or the pumps can be purchased separately without that tie.

You contact Thain when you need replacement chemicals. Discuss the supply arrangement alongside your equipment so you know how the pumps and consumables will be provided.

Read more about automatic detergent dosing systems at Thain Commercial. Our rental washing machine range is the starting point for selecting a compatible machine and discussing the dosing requirements alongside it.

Commercial Laundry Equipment Hire FAQs

Can I Rent Just One Machine?

Yes. You can rent an individual washer, dryer or ironer. Tell us about any equipment you are keeping so the replacement can work with your existing laundry.

What Information Helps You Recommend Equipment?

Start with what you wash, the size and number of loads and how quickly items need to be ready again. Room dimensions, photographs and details of existing machines are also useful. You do not need to choose a model first; Thain can help turn those requirements into an equipment recommendation.

Can Different Equipment Brands Be Considered?

Yes. Equipment from different manufacturers can be considered, including Electrolux Professional and Miele. The choice is based on workload, available space and installation requirements, with compatibility checked for any payment system or optional dosing equipment.

Are Detergents Part of the Machine Rental?

No. Detergents and other laundry chemicals are supplied separately from the equipment rental. Thain can arrange supply, with replenishments ordered by contacting the team.

Can I Buy Equipment Instead?

Yes. Thain Commercial handles outright equipment purchases. This website focuses on rental and leasing, so purchasing enquiries are directed there for advice on suitable machines and a purchase quotation.
